About this trip
Seven days across three very different faces of India: the noise and energy of Mumbai, then the quiet, temple-strewn ruins of Hampi and the rock-cut caves of Badami.
You start in Mumbai taking in its markets and landmarks, then fly to Hubli and drive into Hampi, where the remains of the Vijayanagara Empire spread across a boulder-strewn landscape. From there you continue to Badami, known for its carved cave temples and old fort.
This is a fully guided group trip, pitched as easy-paced and suitable for families, so it works well if you'd rather not plan logistics yourself.
