About this trip
Seven days through India's classic Delhi-Agra-Jaipur route, taking in the country's most recognisable historic sites without rushing through in a single day.
You'll move between three very different cities, from the layered history of Delhi to the marble of the Taj Mahal and the pink sandstone of Jaipur, with a stop at the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri along the way.
It's a partially guided trip, so you get local guidance at the key sites balanced with time to explore markets and streets on your own.
What you'll do
- Explore Delhi, a capital with roots back to the 6th century BC
- See the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites
- Walk through Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted Mughal-era city
- Visit Amer Fort and City Palace in Jaipur
- Take in Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal
- Browse Jaipur's local markets
- Covers three major cities in seven days, so expect regular travel between stops
- Partially guided — some sites are visited independently
