About this trip
A 7-day guided loop through western Bhutan, taking in Thimphu, Gangtey and the Punakha Valley before ending back in Paro.
You'll visit monasteries and cultural landmarks in Thimphu, cross the high Dochula Pass into the Gangtey area, then spend time in the quieter Punakha Valley before a final stretch back in Paro.
This is a slower-paced, small-group cultural trip rather than a trekking or adventure tour, suited to those wanting a first proper look at Bhutan.
