About this trip
Nine days moving through Egypt's essential ancient sites, starting in Cairo before joining a Nile cruise down to Luxor and Aswan. It's a fully guided route that covers the major names you'd expect — pyramids, temples, tombs — without you having to work out logistics between them.
Cairo brings the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, plus a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. From there you head south to Luxor's temple complexes and the Valley of the Kings, then further on to Aswan and the temples at Abu Simbel.
The pace is steady rather than rushed, with the Nile cruise giving you a comfortable base as you move between sites rather than repacking every night.
