About this trip
Eighteen days across China, starting in Hong Kong and ending in Beijing, with the karst peaks of Guilin and the old city of Xi'an in between.
This is a guided group trip built around the big set pieces — the Great Wall, ancient capitals, a river of limestone hills — but there's room for local food and daily life along the way too.
A good fit if you want to see modern and historic China side by side without organising the logistics yourself.
