About this trip
Fifteen days across Morocco, starting and ending in Marrakech and taking in a proper spread of the country — coastal cities, imperial towns, mountains and desert. It moves at a fair clip, with a new stop every day or two.
You'll head north through Casablanca and Rabat to the blue streets of Chefchaouen, then east via Volubilis and Meknes to the medina in Fes. From there it's over the Atlas Mountains to Midelt, out into the Sahara for a night camping under the stars, and back through Todra Gorge and Ait Benhaddou to the coast at Essaouira before returning to Marrakech.
