Morocco Encompassed Casablanca

Casablanca → Marrakesh 14 days Up to 16

About this trip

This 14-day loop takes you from Casablanca right around Morocco's highlights, joining a group that set off from Marrakech the day before. You'll move from the Atlantic coast through imperial cities, over the Atlas Mountains and into the Sahara, before finishing back in Marrakech.

Expect a proper mix of landscapes and city life: the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, Roman ruins at Volubilis, the tanneries of Fes, camel trekking into the dunes, and a night sleeping in a Berber camp under the stars.

It's a hotel-based tour with one desert night in a traditional camp, travelling by minivan between stops, so you get a broad, comfortable introduction to the country without long treks or rough camping.

What you'll do

  • Explore Chefchaouen, Morocco's blue city
  • Visit the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca
  • See the Roman ruins at Volubilis
  • Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes and overnight at a Berber camp
  • Wander the medina and dye-pits of Fes
  • Walk through Djemaa-el-Fna square and the medina in Marrakech
Good to know
  • You join a group already underway from Marrakech, so this is the Casablanca-start version of a longer route
  • Stays are in 3/4-star hotels with one night camping in the desert
  • Transport is by minivan throughout, and the pace covers a lot of ground across 14 days
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want a well-paced, genuine cultural overview with excellent guides. Think twice if you need reliable wifi, hotel consistency, or independent evening exploration time.

  • Guides Younes, Khalid, Assia, and Elhassan consistently praised as knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely great at group management.
  • Pacing spreads you across multiple regions without excessive driving days; Bedouin camp overnight and camel riding highlighted as memorable.
  • Hotel quality patchy; wifi unreliable in at least three; Fes hotel location isolated, limiting evening exploration and dining options nearby.
  • Food described as ordinary and tourist-aimed rather than standout; Berber camp accommodation lacked privacy dividers and weatherproofing issues noted.
