About this trip
Six days from Arusha taking in three of northern Tanzania's biggest landscapes: a soda lake stained red, the endless grass of the Serengeti, and the vast bowl of Ngorongoro Crater.
You start at Lake Natron, an odd and striking place with its own ecosystem, then head out on foot to watch the Lesser Flamingos before moving on to the Serengeti's open plains in search of the Big Five.
The trip ends at Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most concentrated wildlife areas in Africa. Travel is by 4WD safari jeep throughout.
