Southwest National Parks Grand Canyon Camping Tour

Start & end in Las Vegas 7 days Up to 14

About this trip

Seven days through the national parks of the American Southwest, camping out under big skies and covering some serious ground. This is the classic loop: Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands and the Grand Canyon, with an overnight stop in Monument Valley along the way.

It's a fully guided group trip with English commentary (an app covers French, German, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, Korean and Japanese for anyone who wants it in another language), so you can just take in the landscapes rather than plan the route. Starts and ends in Las Vegas.

What you'll do

  • Camp overnight in Monument Valley
  • Walk the trails of Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks
  • See Antelope Canyon's slot canyon formations
  • Explore Arches and Canyonlands National Parks
  • Look out over the Grand Canyon
  • Finish up back in Las Vegas
Good to know
  • Camping-based trip, so expect to be outdoors and hands-on with your accommodation each night
  • Covers a lot of parks in seven days, so it's a fairly fast-paced itinerary
  • A private departure with camping is available if your group can fill 8 seats

What travellers actually say

Worth it if you're fit enough for daily hikes and can embrace a tight schedule. Think twice if you need flexibility, soft camping surfaces, or prefer leisurely park exploration.

  • Guides consistently exceptional: Joe, Sam, John, Aurora, Craig all praised for knowledge, humour, adaptability to group fitness levels.
  • Camping grounds rock-hard gravel at most sites; pack yoga mats and soft luggage or expect bruised hips and battered bags.
  • Relentless schedule with only 2-5 hours per park; research attractions beforehand or miss what you came for.
  • Camping option pricey for the comfort level; first-timers should expect early starts and packed days, not downtime.
