About this trip
A full day out of Las Vegas that trades the Strip for dam engineering, desert canyon and a couple of old mining towns. You leave early and you're back by evening, with an expert guide running the whole thing.
The route takes in the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, then heads out to the ghost towns of Chloride and Oatman before finishing at El Dorado Canyon. It's a sightseeing day rather than an active one — lots of stops, photos and stories along the way.
