About this trip
A quick, guided run through Transylvania's best-known sights, starting and ending in Bucharest with two nights based in Brasov. It's built for people who want castles, medieval streets and Dracula lore without a lot of logistics to sort out themselves.
Over three days you cross the Carpathian Mountains and take in Peles Castle, Bran Castle and the old citadel of Sighisoara, then drop underground into one of Europe's largest salt mines. Evenings are spent wandering Brasov's Old Town at your own pace.
With a maximum of seven travellers, it stays small and personal rather than feeling like a coach tour, and the pace is gentle enough to actually enjoy each stop.
