About this trip
This 8-day route cuts straight across the Balkans, from Bucharest to Dubrovnik, taking in six countries along the way. It's a city-to-city journey rather than a deep dive into any one place, with a driver or guide moving you on through each stop.
You start in Bucharest, with the option to add on Transylvania highlights like Dracula's Castle and Peles Castle, then head south through Sofia, Skopje and Prizren before crossing into Albania and Montenegro, finishing on Croatia's Dalmatian coast.
Group sizes are kept small, though the composition can shift along the way as other travellers join or leave partway through.
