About this trip
This trip pairs a couple of days in Quito, sitting high in the Andes, with time out in the Galapagos on Santa Cruz and Isabela. It is a private group tour, so it is just your group and a guide throughout.
On Santa Cruz you head into the highlands to look for giant tortoises in the wild, and on Isabela you get a slower, wilder island with flamingos, sea lions and sharks in the shallows. Flights link Quito to Baltra and on between islands.
It is pitched as an easy-paced introduction to the Galapagos with a taste of mainland Ecuador either side, and works well for families or anyone short on time.
