About this trip
This 14-day trip takes you the length of Albania, starting in the rugged mountains of the north and finishing on the turquoise coast of the south. It is a guided journey built around castles, old towns and archaeological sites, with some proper coastline thrown in at the end.
Expect a mix of history and landscape rather than one long beach stint. You will spend time in UNESCO towns like Berat and Gjirokastër, walk among ruins at Apollonia, and get out into wilder terrain around Theth before winding down on the Riviera near Ksamil.
It is pitched as easy-paced and suits families or groups wanting a broad introduction to the country rather than a deep dive into any one region.
