About this trip
Eight days overland from Tallinn to Vilnius, covering some of the Baltics' best-known stops along the way. Expect gothic castles, street art, coastline and a few good breweries, with history running through most of it.
This one's built for people who like their travel with a bit of context — old towns, university cities and stories behind the buildings — but there's enough variety that it doesn't feel like a history lecture.
Travel is by coach with a fully guided group, so someone else handles the logistics while you take in the region.
What you'll do
- Explore Tallinn's old town
- Visit gothic castles along the route
- Check out street art in the cities you pass through
- Wander buzzing university towns
- Sample local breweries
- Finish up in Vilnius
- Coach travel between stops, so you cover ground by road rather than flying
- Good fit if you're into history, though the trip mixes in enough else to suit non-history buffs too
