About this trip
This eight-day tour traces Thailand's old royal capitals, from Chiang Mai in the north down to Bangkok in the south, with history and temples running through most days.
You start in Chiang Mai, taking in its temples and night market, before heading to the UNESCO sites of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya, both former capitals of Siam. The tour ends in Bangkok.
It's a small group of up to 8 people, and the pace is easy, so there's room to actually take in the history rather than rush through it.
