About this trip
A one-day tour through Cairo's biggest historical draws, covering ancient artefacts, Islamic-era architecture and the buzz of one of the city's oldest markets.
You start at the Egyptian Museum, home to Tutankhamun's golden mask among a collection of over 250,000 pieces, then head to the Citadel of Salah El Din for panoramic views over the city and a look inside the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali.
The day winds up at Khan Al Khalili Bazaars, where you can wander the stalls and get a feel for everyday Cairo life. Door-to-door transport in an air-conditioned car and lunch at a local restaurant are included.
