About this trip
This is a proper crossing of southern Africa overland, starting in Cape Town and ending nearly three weeks later at Victoria Falls, with Namibia's deserts and Botswana's game parks in between.
You'll move through some of the region's most dramatic landscapes, from Cape Town's cosmopolitan buzz to the stark beauty of Namibia's desert to wildlife-dense parks, staying in hotels and lodges rather than tents along the way.
It's a long, ground-covering trip built around scenery, wildlife and culture, with room to add activities as you go.
