About this trip
Eight days across four of India's most storied cities — Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi — covering the classic Golden Triangle route with the holy city of Varanasi added on.
You move between Mughal monuments, pink-hued palaces and the ghats of the Ganges, taking in how differently each region has shaped its architecture, food and daily life.
It's run as a private, partially guided trip, so you get a set route with room to move at your own pace rather than sticking rigidly to a group schedule.
What you'll do
- See the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
- Explore Jaipur's Amber Fort and City Palace
- Wander Old and New Delhi's markets and monuments
- Take a boat ride along the Ganges in Varanasi
- Watch the evening aarti ceremony on the ghats
- Private and partially guided, so you're not tied to a large group
- Suits families or those who prefer a relaxed pace over a packed itinerary
- Covers four cities in eight days, so there's a fair amount of travel between stops
Worth it if you value personal attention, knowledgeable guides, and flexibility. Think twice if you're budget-conscious about monument fees and prefer larger group dynamics.
- Guides, particularly Sanjeev, offer exceptional personal care and go beyond standard itineraries to suit individual needs.
- Local transport, meals, and logistics are consistently well-organised with reliable, punctual drivers and seamless coordination.
- Monument entry fees are not included and represent significant extra costs on top of the tour price.
- Small group or solo travel means guides dedicate time to you, but expect limited peer interaction if seeking group camaraderie.
