About this trip
Eleven days across northern India, starting in Delhi and moving into Rajasthan, taking in the mix of history, colour and everyday life that the region is known for.
Expect a route built around cities and culture, palaces, temples and markets rather than beaches or trekking. It's an all-inclusive, partially guided trip, so a good chunk is organised for you while still leaving room to explore.
Set up as a private trip, it suits families or groups travelling together, including over Christmas and New Year if that's when you're going.
What you'll do
- Explore the streets and sights of Delhi
- Travel on into Rajasthan's cities and countryside
- Visit palaces linked to the region's royal history
- Take in temples along the route
- Browse local markets in the towns you pass through
- Private and partially guided, so some days have a guide and some are left open
- Described as moderate paced rather than fast-moving or intense
- All-inclusive setup, so most costs are covered as part of the trip
