About this trip
Eight days through northern India's classic Golden Triangle, with an extension to Amritsar for the Golden Temple. You cover Delhi, Agra and Jaipur before travelling on to the Punjab, using Indian trains as part of the journey between cities.
This is a private, partially guided trip, so you'll have a guide for key sites but time and space to move at your own pace rather than sticking to a fixed group schedule. It suits families or those wanting a more relaxing style of touring rather than a packed itinerary.
The route takes in Mughal history, old city life and one of Sikhism's holiest sites, giving a mix of grand monuments and everyday street atmosphere.
