Explore Morocco: The North & The Sahara

This one takes you across the north of Morocco and down into the Sahara, so you get the full contrast in a single trip: coastal Tangier, the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, the medinas of Fes and Meknes, and eventually the dunes south of Marrakech.

It moves at a fair clip, covering a lot of ground over 11 days, but the pacing is built around a clear route north to south rather than backtracking. The desert stretch is the centrepiece, with a night at a camp near an oasis under a clear sky.

It suits you if you want to see both faces of Morocco — historic, hilly, and coastal in the north, wide open and desert in the south — rather than settling into just one region.
