About this trip
Fifteen days split between a genuine attempt on Kilimanjaro's summit and a proper look at the Serengeti. You climb via the Lemosho route, camping your way up over roughly seven days, then swap the mountain for grasslands and wildlife.
The second half slows the pace but not the intensity: game drives in search of the big five, a visit to a Maasai village, and a trip to the Ngorongoro Crater. It's a trip of two very different Africas, hiking and safari, rather than one blended experience.
Expect early starts, long days, and a physical challenge before the reward of the Serengeti.
