Sailing Greece - Santorini to Athens

Santorini → Athens 15 days Up to 10

About this trip

Fifteen days aboard a 56ft yacht, sailing between the Greek islands from Santorini to Athens. This is a small-group trip with a private cabin for you, and a slower, more hands-on way to see the islands than jumping between resorts.

Days are built around time on the water and time ashore — hiking island trails, snorkelling in clear bays, and wandering harbour towns lined with tavernas. There's room to just sit on deck too.

Expect fresh seafood, a glass of ouzo, and the odd ancient ruin to explore along the way.

What you'll do

  • Sail the Greek islands aboard a 56ft yacht
  • Hike island trails between stops
  • Snorkel in bays along the route
  • Wander taverna-lined harbour towns
  • Visit ancient archaeological sites
  • Dine on fresh seafood and try the local ouzo
Good to know
  • Easy pace, with a mix of sailing, swimming stops, and free time ashore
  • You have your own private cabin rather than a shared room
  • Fully guided throughout, so the sailing and route are handled for you
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you're comfortable with tight quarters and want genuine sailing immersion with excellent skippers. Think twice if you need guaranteed sailing conditions or value predictability over spontaneity.

  • Skippers like Erwin actively teach sailing, cook proper meals, and let you rest when needed.
  • Boat and skipper change mid-trip without advance warning; two-week bookers may be sole couple onboard.
  • Twin-share accommodation means sharing a bed with strangers unless you clarify ahead; pre-trip info is lengthy.
  • Not all days are sailing days due to weather; expect motorised stretches and genuine discomfort at sea.
