About this trip
A week through Albania that ends on Corfu, taking in castles, old towns, mountains and coastline before you cross into Greece.
You start in Tirana with a cooking class, then move on to the hilltop castle at Kruje and the shutter-lined old streets of Berat, known as the town of a thousand windows. From there the route follows the Albanian Riviera down the coast.
A hike up into the mountains to a shepherd outpost gives you a look at traditional rural life, and the trip closes with a stretch of beach time on Corfu.
