About this trip
Eight days across Kerala, moving from Kochi's colonial harbour through the tea hills of Munnar to the backwaters of Alleppey and Kumarakom. It's an easy-paced, partially guided trip, so you get some structure but also room to wander.
Expect a mix of culture, wildlife and water — a Kathakali performance in Kochi, tea plantations in the hills, a wildlife sanctuary, and a night or day on a traditional houseboat drifting through the backwaters.
Good for families or those wanting a private, unhurried look at south India rather than a packed itinerary.
