About this trip
Seven days through Kerala's south, moving from the old trading streets of Fort Kochi to the forests of Thekkady, the lakeside calm of Kumarakom and the backwaters of Alleppey.
Expect a mix of history, wildlife and water. A night aboard a houseboat drifting along the palm-fringed canals is the centrepiece, bookended by time in a wildlife sanctuary and on Kumarakom's beaches.
It's a partially guided trip, so there's structure around the key stops but room to explore on your own too.
