About this trip
This trip takes you through southern Madagascar, a region known for its varied landscapes and wildlife, starting on the coast and moving inland by 4WD.
You begin in Ifaty, a fishing village on the west coast, where turquoise water and coral reef set the tone for a few slower days of beach time and diving. From there you head up-country through parks and reserves, spotting lemurs in the wild and taking in landscapes that shift from one stop to the next.
Along the way you also get a look at local culture, including traditional tombs that reflect the customs of the region's ethnic groups.
