The Costa Rican Caribbean Adventure

The Caribbean side of Costa Rica moves at a different pace to the Pacific coast, and feels different too. Afro-Caribbean roots run deep here, with reggae and Rasta influences shaping the food, music and general unhurried mood.

This self-guided, private trip takes you along the southern coast to Puerto Viejo, a laid-back surf village, then on to the quieter jungle-backed sands of Playa Cahuita, before heading north to Tortuguero National Park for some of the country's best wildlife watching.

It's a week built for slowing down — beach time, boat rides through the canals, and jungle on your doorstep, with the flexibility of travelling privately at your own pace.
