About this trip
This five-day route runs from Marrakech to Casablanca, cutting across the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara before looping through Fes. It's a private, fully guided trip, so it's just your group and a local guide covering a lot of Moroccan ground in a short time.
Expect a mix of desert, mountains, and old cities — a camel ride and night camp in the Merzouga dunes, then the dense medina of Fes, before finishing on the Atlantic coast in Casablanca.
What you'll do
- Cross the Atlas Mountains between Marrakech and the Sahara
- Ride camels into the Merzouga dunes and camp overnight under the stars
- Explore the alleys and markets of the Fes medina
- Travel from the desert through to the Atlantic coast at Casablanca
- Five days covers a lot of distance, so several days involve long stretches of driving
- Private and fully guided, so the pace can flex to suit your group
- Moderate activity level — camel riding and walking through medinas, nothing strenuous
