About this trip
Six days from Casablanca to Marrakech, covering a lot of Morocco in a short time: coastal cities, mountain towns, Roman ruins, and a night in the Sahara. This is a private, fully guided trip, so the pace and stops are set but you're not sharing a vehicle with strangers.
You move most days, from Casablanca's architecture through Rabat, the blue-washed lanes of Chefchaouen, the Roman site at Volubilis, and the old imperial city of Meknes before reaching Fes. From there the route climbs into the cedar forests and alpine air of Ifrane and Azrou, drops through the Ziz Valley to the dunes at Merzouga, then cuts back west through the Tinghir gorges and a string of kasbahs to Marrakech.
