About this trip
This 12-day route runs the length of Vietnam, from Hanoi in the north down to Ho Chi Minh City, taking in the country's biggest historical and cultural sights along the way.
You start in Hanoi's Old Quarter and cruise Halong Bay, then fly south to Hoi An's ancient town, the former imperial capital Hue, and finally Saigon, with a day trip out to the Mekong Delta.
It's a well-trodden, easy-paced way to see Vietnam's highlights, with guided city tours mixed in with free time to wander markets, eat street food, or take a cooking class.
