About this trip
Fifteen days across India, moving from Delhi down to Goa through cities, lakes, hills and coast. There's a real mix of pace here — some days are packed with sightseeing and travel, others left free for you to wander bazaars, ride rickshaws or just sit by a lake.
You'll cover a lot of ground: Mumbai's street food and markets, spice plantations, forested hills, centuries-old monuments and a few temple visits along the way. The final stretch is Goa, where the plan is simply to slow down on the sand.
Getting around is part of the experience — long train rides, including a 9-hour overnight sleeper to Goa, plus local buses. Expect basic conditions on transport but a genuine slice of how people actually travel in India.
What you'll do
- Explore Delhi's bazaars and old-city alleyways by rickshaw
- Visit spice plantations and centuries-old monuments en route
- Mingle with local merchants in Mumbai
- Stroll by lakes and through forested hill country
- Ride a 9-hour overnight sleeper train to Goa
- Wind down on Goa's beaches with yoga and easy days
- Involves early starts and long journeys, including an overnight sleeper train shared with locals and other travellers
- Temple visits require modest dress — bring clothing that covers arms and knees, plus a light scarf
- Plenty of free time is built in, so budget for optional activities you'd like to add
Worth it if you want seamless India exploration with a strong guide. Think twice if you need flexibility—timing and closures aren't always in your control.
- Guide quality makes or breaks it; Sana's knowledge and effort transformed the whole experience for multiple travellers.
- Logistics are genuinely smooth—hotels decent, food good, itinerary runs like clockwork with few surprises if you prep.
- Final day landing on Monday saw Goa attractions closed; sleeper trains were fun but visibly tiring for some.
- Group bonded well across wide age range, but you'll have limited solo time if you prefer independence from the schedule.
