About this trip
Five days along Morocco's Atlantic coast and into Marrakech, built around beaches and surf rather than desert dunes. It's a relaxed pace with room to catch waves, wander a medina or two, and watch the sun go down from a rooftop.
You'll spend time in Taghazout, known for its surf, and Essaouira, a laid-back seaside town with a strong cultural pull, before finishing in Marrakech.
This is a short, easy-going introduction to the country rather than a deep dive — good if you want a taste before deciding whether to come back for longer.
What you'll do
- Chill out and try the surf at Taghazout on the Atlantic coast
- Wander Essaouira, a seaside town with a laid-back, artsy history
- Explore beach towns once favoured by musicians in the 1960s
- Watch sunset over Djemaa el-Fna from a Marrakech rooftop bar in your free time
- This trip is part of a longer itinerary, so you may join travellers who've already spent time together
- If travelling during Ramadan, expect some restaurants and cafes to be closed during the day and your leader to adjust plans accordingly
- Tipping is expected for most services — your leader will suggest amounts as a group
