About this trip
Seven days sailing Thailand's Andaman Sea, based aboard a yacht as you move between islands rather than hotels. Days are built around swimming, snorkelling and time on the water, with the boat itself as your changing view.
You'll take in the limestone cliffs around Koh Phi Phi and the coastline near Phuket, with a private chef cooking Thai meals on board. It's a small group setup, so evenings tend to mean deck time and sunsets rather than nightlife.
This suits people happy to spend a week living on a boat, including moving around the vessel and using stairs, with sun and salt water part of daily life.
What you'll do
- Sail the Andaman Sea between Phuket and Koh Phi Phi
- Snorkel turquoise waters around the islands
- Kayak and paddleboard from the boat
- Explore limestone cliffs and coves by boat
- Eat Thai meals cooked by an onboard private chef
- Watch sunsets from the deck each evening
- Most of the trip is spent aboard a sailing boat, so you need to be comfortable moving around the vessel, including stairs
- Crew can help with seasickness if it affects you
- Pack sun protection and drink plenty of water, as you'll be in the sun most days
Worth it if you prioritise authentic sailing, stellar food, and genuine crew care over luxury. Think twice if you're cabin-sensitive, dislike tight quarters, or want maximum water activities.
- Chef Na's meals are genuinely exceptional—reviewers kept mentioning the quality from a tiny galley kitchen.
- Quad cabins are significantly nicer than doubles: larger windows, better ventilation, worth the upgrade cost.
- No air conditioning on boat; sleeping tricky even in coolest season despite fans. Plan for heat.
- Luggage gets tossed roughly in zodiac transfers to boat—pack fragiles carefully or risk breakage.
