About this trip
Ten days sailing the Croatian coast, waking up each morning somewhere new and spending the days swimming, sunbathing and exploring on and off the boat. You cover real ground, from Dubrovnik's old town down to the greener, quieter island of Mljet.
Expect a mix of history and downtime, walled towns with Roman roots, hidden bays for swimming, fresh seafood, and the odd waterfall or bike ride to break up the sailing. A group leader runs the trip and you share it with the rest of the crew on board.
It's a sociable, easy-paced way to see the Adriatic without having to plan any of it yourself.
What you'll do
- Sail between islands and coastal towns on a premium boat
- Explore Dubrovnik's walled old town
- Visit Mljet and its green, forested landscape
- Swim in hidden bays along the coast
- Explore towns with Roman-era history
- Get out on a bike or kayak to see the coastline from a different angle
- Shared rooms on board, so you're in close quarters with the group
- Easy pace overall, but days are full — sailing, swimming, sightseeing and socialising
Worth it if you value a well-organised sailing experience with genuinely enthusiastic guides and a good social group. Think twice if you prefer a faster-paced itinerary with fewer structured activities.
- Tour leaders (Steph and Becca named repeatedly) create infectious energy and manage group dynamics exceptionally well.
- Sweet spot between lazy boat days with swimming and sea activities, and structured exploration like Krka Waterfalls and old town walks.
- Paced deliberately slower than other Intro tours; suits those wanting downtime but may feel light on activity for faster-paced travellers.
- One reviewer mentions small uncontrollable hiccups occurred, suggesting occasional logistical issues despite strong leadership.
