India Experience

Start & end in Delhi 13 days Up to 16

About this trip

Thirteen days across India, moving from the noise and colour of Delhi to the forests of Ranthambore in search of tigers. It's a full-on introduction to the country — culture, spirituality, food and a fair bit of culture shock along the way.

This is a fully guided group trip, moderate in pace, with a group leader running things from the start and a shared room set-up throughout. You'll be travelling with the same small group the whole way, which shapes a lot of the experience.

What you'll do

  • Take in the energy of Delhi's streets and monuments
  • Go on safari in Ranthambore National Park looking for tigers
  • See some of India's best-known landmarks
  • Sample regional Indian food along the route
  • Travel with a fixed small group and local group leader
Good to know
  • Moderate pace with a lot of ground covered in 13 days
  • Shared rooms throughout, not private
  • Good fit if you're up for culture shock and constant movement rather than a slow, settled trip
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want India demystified by exceptional local guides with minimal stress. Think twice if you dislike early starts and packed itineraries.

  • Guide quality is genuinely exceptional—Dev, Mikes, Vivek consistently praised for local knowledge, safety, and managing 18+ person groups seamlessly.
  • Early mornings pay off: Taj Mahal sunrise, safari dawn starts, and strategic routing minimise travel time between major sites.
  • Packed agenda is relentless; you see a lot fast but it's only manageable because guides are so organised and attentive.
  • Group dynamic matters; reviews highlight camaraderie, but with 18+ people across wide age range, solo travellers should expect constant company.
