About this trip
Twenty days across Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, covering a lot of ground and a lot of history. You start in Ho Chi Minh City and work your way north through Vietnam before crossing into Laos and finishing in Cambodia, so expect frequent moves and a fair number of flights along the way.
The pace lets you get under the skin of each place rather than just glimpse it — cycling to a herb village outside Hoi An, cruising the Mekong Delta, waking up on a boat in Halong Bay. Laos slows things down with caves, waterfalls and the strange stone jars of Xieng Khouang, before Cambodia closes things out with Phnom Penh's history and the temples of Angkor.
This is a proper three-country tour for anyone who wants the full sweep of Indochina in one trip, guided throughout so the logistics of border crossings and internal flights are handled for you.
