About this trip
Eighteen days through Vietnam that moves from the hills of the north down to the beaches of the south, taking in the country's history and culture along the way. You start in Hanoi and finish in Ho Chi Minh City, with mountains, a bay cruise, imperial history and coastline all worked in between.
The pace mixes proper sightseeing with slower stretches - a night in Mai Chau Valley, a night aboard a boat on Halong Bay, temple ruins at My Son, the old imperial capital of Hue, and beach time in Nha Trang before the city finale.
