About this trip
A short escape from Hanoi out onto the water, with one night sleeping aboard a cruise ship among the limestone karsts of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.
Two days is enough to get a proper feel for the scenery - towering rock formations, quiet caves, and calm green water good for swimming or a paddle. Meals are taken care of onboard, including a go at Vietnamese cooking.
