About this trip
Three days out of Cairo take you into the White Desert, where wind has carved the chalk rock into strange white shapes that glow at dusk. You camp out under the stars, with meals and gear sorted for you.
Along the way you pass Crystal Mountain and the Black Desert's volcanic hills, and stop at Bahariya Oasis to soak in its hot springs. Keep an eye out after dark for fennec foxes and other desert wildlife.
It's a short, fully guided adventure with transfers and camping equipment included, built around getting you into the landscape rather than ticking off sights from a bus window.
