About this trip
A week aboard a yacht in the Saronic and Cycladic islands, mixing sailing with daily yoga and SUP. You set sail from Alimos or Kalithea Marina in Athens, with the route depending on the weather, and spend your days moving between islands, swimming in clear bays and practising yoga on deck.
Group size is capped at eight, with a skipper and a certified yoga instructor both on board, so there's room for proper one-to-one guidance whether you've been practising for years or are just starting out. Breakfast and light lunches are included and self-served.
Beyond the sailing and yoga, there's time built in for a free soak in the Pafsanias thermal spring and stops at sites like the ancient theatre of Epidavros, the Sunken City and the Temple of Athena.
What you'll do
- Sail between four Saronic or Cycladic islands depending on conditions
- Daily yoga sessions on board with a certified instructor
- SUP sessions in calm island bays
- Free 20-minute soak in the Pafsanias ancient thermal spring
- Visit the ancient theatre of Epidavros and the Temple of Athena
- See the Sunken City
- Itinerary depends on weather, so the exact islands visited can change
- Group size is capped at 8 guests across yachts with 3 or 4 cabins
- Breakfast and light lunches are included and self-service; other meals are on you
Worth it if you want a relaxed sailing week with a genuinely excellent, attentive skipper. Think twice if you need spacious cabins, gourmet meals, or consistent yoga instruction quality.
- Elias is an exceptional skipper with 40+ years experience who actively solves problems—adjusts routes for weather, arranges transport, even orchestrates proposals.
- Cabins are cramped, beds tight especially if shared, and rooms get very hot at night; tap water undrinkable.
- Yoga instructors vary; one reviewer found sessions disappointing, whilst others praised flexible, skill-adjusted classes.
- Daily routine balances three-hour sails with swimming, SUP, taverna dinners, and morning/evening yoga in secluded, stunning locations.
