About this trip
Fifteen days that take you from the monuments and dynasties of the north down to the backwaters and plantations of Kerala, ending in Mumbai. It's a proper cross-section of India rather than one region — forts and temples first, then a slower, greener pace in the south.
You'll cover Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho and Varanasi before flying south to Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey and Cochin, finishing in Mumbai. Expect a lot of ground covered and a real contrast between the two halves of the trip.
It suits travellers who want breadth over depth — history, architecture and spirituality in the north, then tea gardens, spice plantations and a houseboat night in the south.
What you'll do
- See the Taj Mahal at Agra and Amer Fort in Jaipur
- Take in the carved temples of Khajuraho and the ghats of Varanasi

- Explore Cochin before ending the trip in Mumbai
