About this trip
This nine-day route covers the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, then heads north to Haridwar and Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganges. It's a mix of Mughal history, Rajasthani forts and the calmer, spiritual pace of the Ganges towns.
You'll take in the big sights — Qutub Minar, the Taj Mahal, Amer Fort — alongside quieter moments like a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's alleys and a stepwell visit at Abhaneri. The second half slows down with yoga sessions and an Aarti ceremony in Rishikesh and Haridwar.
It suits travellers who want a proper introduction to India's history and culture but also want a few days to sit still, breathe, and take stock along the river.
