About this trip
Ten days across Oman built around the contrast between its forts and its wilder landscapes. You move between old stone fortifications with centuries of history behind them and wadis carved through mountains and canyons, many with pools of clear water still sitting in the rock.
Some of that water sits inside caves, forming natural swimming pools you can only reach on foot or by 4WD. Evenings often end in the desert, watching moonlight settle over the dunes.
This is a private trip, so the group is just you and whoever you're travelling with, and the pace can flex around what you want to see.
