About this trip
Eight days through Oman that takes in Muscat's landmarks, desert dunes, coastal wildlife and mountain scenery, all on a private, partially guided basis so it moves at your pace.
You start in the capital with its mosques, forts and souks, then head out to wadis and Wahiba Sands for a night in the desert, before finishing among the turtles of Ras Al Hadd and the cliffs of Jebel Shams.
It's a broad introduction to the country rather than a deep dive into any one region, with comfortable transfers between very different landscapes each day.
