About this trip
Five days across Oman's contrasts — Muscat's mosques and souqs, the sheer drop of Jebel Shams, and the dunes of Wahiba Sands. It's a compact route that moves from city to mountain to desert without rushing.
You get a proper look at the capital first, then head inland through wadis and up into the mountains before the landscape opens out into sand. A private, partially guided setup, so you're not tied to a big group but still have support getting between places.
What you'll do
- Explore Muscat's grand mosques and old souqs
- Drive the wadis and mountain roads toward Jebel Shams
- Stand at the edge of Jebel Shams, Oman's Grand Canyon
- Cross into the dunes of Wahiba Sands
- See Oman's shift from coastline to mountain to desert in a few days
- Private and partially guided, so pace can flex a bit around the core route
- Covers a lot of terrain in five days — city, mountains, and desert back to back
