Buenos Aires, Patagonia & Santiago (Superior)

Buenos Aires → Santiago 11 days Up to 16

About this trip

Eleven days across Argentina and Chile, moving from the city energy of Buenos Aires down into the wide-open landscapes of Patagonia, then finishing in Santiago. It's a mix of guided city time and bigger scenery days, so you get both culture and glaciers without picking one over the other.

Buenos Aires opens the trip with its neighbourhoods, landmarks and a tango show, before you head south to El Calafate for the Perito Moreno Glacier. From there it's on to Torres del Paine, with viewpoints, the Cueva del Milodon monument, a boat ride through the fjords and a hike to Serrano Glacier, ending with guided sightseeing in Santiago.

Rated easy and partially guided, with private rooms throughout, this suits families or groups who want the big Patagonian landscapes handled for them, with some free time built in around the guided days.
