About this trip
Three very different faces of Argentina in ten days: Buenos Aires, El Calafate and Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city. You move from tango-filled city streets to Patagonian steppe to the mountains and channels of Tierra del Fuego.
Transfers, accommodation and local guides are arranged for you, but this isn't a fixed, closed group. You travel on set departure dates alongside other independent travellers, and who you share each leg with may change from city to city.
It suits people who like the ease of things being organised without being locked into the same group the whole way through.
What you'll do
- Explore Buenos Aires and take in a tango show
- Fly south to El Calafate for the Perito Moreno Glacier
- Continue to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world
- Walk through Tierra del Fuego National Park
- Fixed departure dates, with group size and companions varying between destinations
- International/domestic flights, internal buses, national park entrance fees and optional excursions are not included
- Suits independent travellers happy to share logistics with others without joining a fixed group
Worth it if you want hassle-free access to iconic sights with genuinely knowledgeable guides. Think twice if you expect more than two days of actual activities in a 10-day trip.
- Tour guides are exceptionally professional, funny and informative—they genuinely elevate the experience beyond the scenery.
- Only two days of actual activities across 10 days; the rest consumed by flights and transport between cities.
- Perito Moreno Glacier and Ushuaia delivered on bucket-list expectations; logistics ran smoothly from airport pickups onwards.
- Weather in El Calafate is unpredictable, but you may luck out. Consider extending stays in either location if possible.
