About this trip
Four days along Thailand's northern stretch of the Mekong, where the culture leans as much towards Laos as it does towards the rest of Thailand. This is a quieter, less-visited side of the country, built around temples, markets, and river towns rather than beaches or nightlife.
You'll take in the landscapes around Khao Kho, explore the riverside town of Chiang Khan, and spend time in Nong Khai and Udon Thani getting a feel for the Thai-Lao mix that shapes daily life here.
Travelling in a small group of up to eight, with an easy pace suited to families and anyone wanting a short, culture-focused introduction to the north rather than a packed itinerary.
